We've updated pricing for our Pro and Lab plans. This entry has since been superseded by the [7-day workspace trial update](/changelog/workspace-trials).

## New pricing

- **Pro** is now Rs 499/month or Rs 4,999/year. Unlimited documents, unlimited AI messages, 5 plagiarism checks per month, and the Advanced AI model.
- **Lab** is now Rs 2,499/month or Rs 24,999/year. Up to 10 seats with shared workspaces, the Frontier AI model, and unlimited plagiarism checks.

Annual billing gets you 2 months free on both plans.

## Why this change

Running an AI research workspace built for Indian scholars at a sustainable price means we needed to adjust our paid plans. The new pricing lets us keep investing in faster models, better citations, deeper plagiarism detection, and more integrations.

This pricing update was later followed by replacing the Free plan with 7-day Pro trials for each workspace.
